Every community can benefit from its own news medium whether it is sold, delivered free, or published on the net. Through them, people can find out about the history of their area, contact local organisations, discover what is going on, read about forthcoming events etc. Most importantly such publications can help create a real sense of community.

Our aim is to promote such publications and community web sites. Hopefully this will encourage other communities to launch their own and existing publishers to exchange ideas and learn from each other.
